Galt House Hotel Celebrates Music
Galt House Hotel is the Official Hotel for both Abbey Road on the River and Forecastle Festival. Abbey Road on the River is a must-do for Beatles fans. Christmas at the Galt House Hotel Sparks Holiday Cheer!
Christmas at the Galt House Hotel is November 16, 2013 to January 1, 2014. The event features new, more interactive larger-than-life luminaries in the KaLightoscope Attraction; the Candy Cane Forest with the Peppermint Express Kiddie Train Ride, 90 animated characters and Mr. Sugar Pine, the talking tree; and the Christmas Village with the Snow Fairy Princess and her Castle, restored figures from the old Stewart's Department Store holiday windows, and kids activities. The fun spills out on the street with 40 Nights of Lights in downtown Louisville along Fourth Street from the Galt House Hotel to Fourth Street Live! entertainment district. The new multi-purpose 22,000 seat KFC Yum! Center, located downtown adjacent to the Galt House Hotel, is home to the University of Louisville Men's and Women's Basketball programs.
