"Idol" Is Coming and Galt House Hotel & Suites Is Offering Strike Up The Fun Audition Packages

FOX-TV’s American Idol Auditions to Hit Louisville July 19-21, 2008

What: America's highest rated television program will have a Louisville connection for its upcoming season given the city's selection as an audition site for the popular FOX program on July 19-21. Joining in the Idol excitement is Louisville's Galt House Hotel & Suites which is offering a "Strike Up The Fun Audition Package" for the same July timeframe. Included in the package are overnight accommodations, a miniature keepsake Louisville Slugger® bat (in honor of the current country hit sung by a past season's winner), complimentary self-parking and wireless Internet access. Freedom Hall, where auditions will be held is ten minutes from the Galt House "Strike Up The Fun Audition Packages" are designed to give a break to aspiring artists and will assure them of a good night's rest before their big audition. Packages are subject to availability on a first come first served basis.
