Galt House Hotel Offering Severe Weather Special Room Rates

What:
Louisville-area residents plagued by power outages from the recent ‘Ice Storm 2009’ are encouraged to stay the weekend, and beyond, at Galt House Hotel. As offered in advance of the recent winter storm, the hotel’s “Inclement Winter Weather Rate” is still effect until all power is restored throughout the community. Galt House continues to offer discounted rates of $79 for a Deluxe RIVUE Tower guest room, and $99 for an Executive SUITE Tower guest room (rates listed are pre-tax).

In addition, all seven restaurant and lounge venues within the hotel complex are open and ready to serve. Whether staying at the hotel, needing a reprieve from the weather someplace warm, or even looking for a place to watch the big game this Sunday, Galt House has plenty of dining options from which to choose.

When:
The “Inclement Winter Weather Rate” is available for open guest rooms, and is in effect until all power is restored throughout the community (as determined by Louisville Gas & Electric). The discounted rates are applicable to available inventory on a first come first served basis. Galt House reserves the right to rescind the “Inclement Winter Weather Rate” as deemed necessary.
